Simulation of elevated temperature/pre-heating application utilising induction heating process on round bars test blocks of:

1. 75mm dia x 220 mm length of Carbon Steel, AISI 4140

2. ⁠75mm dia x 80mm length of Stainless Steel, ASTM A240 SS 304

On behalf of our satisfied Client, Oceancare Corporation Sdn. Bhd., PHB has successfully heated the test bars at ambient temperature to 500 deg C in 55 deg C increments.

Purpose: To monitor the variation of thickness measurement differences with the possibility of material expansion on the heated round bars.
